Have you ever wondered what it might be like to dance the night away in a medieval church? Look no further because a new techno clubbing experience is set to take centre stage at Manchester Cathedral this June.
Taking over the city’s cathedral for one night only, Manchester 360º will see British DJ and record producer John Digweed perform an extended three-hour set. For this special event, a DJ booth will be set up in the middle of the venue with a dance floor surrounding it on all sides.
Featuring state-of-the-art projection mapping, light shows and a Funktion One sound system, partygoers will be able to get up close to the DJ and immerse themselves in the historic surroundings. Support on the night will come courtesy of Hush Hush and 909.

Commenting on the upcoming electronic dance party, director of JBM, Brian Murphy said: “JBM are proud to partner with Fever Up to bring our unique 360 concept to the historic Manchester Cathedral. This is a really unique concept for the city so we are really proud to be bringing it to Manchester.”
Keiran Sharples, event booker at JMB added: “John Digweed has been integral to the sculpture of the electronic music landscape and part of the zeitgeist for over 30 years. To have him launch this new concept for JBM with Fever in such an iconic Manchester venue with 1000 clubbers will make for a very special event indeed.”
The Cathedral Church of St Mary, St Denys and St George is one of Manchester’s oldest buildings, dating back to the Middle Ages. The Grade One listed building is notable for its wooden furnishings and stained glass, much of which was restored following the Blitz.
